The cooking this week is going to be quite simple because we are getting quite busy. Once again, I will use what is growing in the garden and I hope to pick more blackberries. I am hoping I won't have to do much in the way of shopping but will just use what we have in the fridge, freezer, garden and hedgerows.
Monday: Vegetable curry with rice
Baked apples stuffed with dried fruits
Tuesday: Fish with parsley sauce, new potatoes, cauliflower, courgettes and tomatoes
homemade yoghurt with damsons
Wednesday: cauliflower cheese, tomatoes, courgettes, roast potatoes
blackberry and apple pie
Thursday: Homemade quiche (using the rest of the pastry), new potatoes, courgette and mint patties, broad beans (if enough left to pick!), tomatoes, roasted peppers
Friday: Roast pork with apple jelly, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes.

Saturday: Cold pork, apple jelly and salad.

Sunday: Roast chicken, roast potatoes, sausage meat stuffing, carrots, peas, courgettes.
Not decided on dessert yet but guess it will be something with blackberries and / or apple.
As you will have gathered from this we have plenty of courgettes, we have the last of the broad beans, lots of apples, and a source of blackberries. I have tomatoes almost ready to eat as well.
